Child Care Resource Center
Each month, CCRC provides quality, support, development and education to over 100,000 children, families, and providers across our 22,500-square-mile service area. Under the leadership of Dr. Michael Olenick, who assumed the position of President and CEO in 2003, CCRC now has over 1,200 professional staff members working from more than 30 different locations. To further the agency’s mission of cultivating child, family and community well-being, CCRC offers a wide range of programs for both parents and child care providers.
Department of Children and Family Services
Each month, DCFS provides comprehensive support, protection, and advocacy for thousands of children and families throughout California, especially focusing on safety and family stability. Led by a team of over 9,000 professionals committed to child welfare, DCFS operates in various locations across the state, coordinating services like foster care, adoption, and family reunification. Driven by a mission to protect vulnerable children and promote healthy family environments, DCFS collaborates with community organizations to offer essential programs that reinforce family resilience and ensure the well-being of children in need.
California Department of Social Services
Each month, CDSS supports thousands of families, children, and community members across the state of California, ensuring access to essential social and economic services through its wide-reaching programs. Under the guidance of state leaders and dedicated personnel, CDSS serves as a critical resource for over 10 million Californians, with more than 4,000 employees working across numerous departments and service centers. Through initiatives that support child care, economic assistance, family services, and community wellness, CDSS furthers its mission to strengthen individual and family well-being while empowering communities statewide.
